Ompal Aggarwal, and a business built on his word
Aggarwal Trading Corporation was founded by Ompal Aggarwal, in the heart of Ludhiana's Kesar Ganj market. He built it on his word alone — long before “distribution network” was a term anyone used.
What he left behind was not just a business but a way of doing business: remember the retailer's name, never treat a relationship as a transaction, and let your word carry the deal.
Dinesh Kumar Aggarwal, and a wider map
His son, Dinesh Kumar Aggarwal, grew up watching him work and carried the same operating principle across a far wider territory. What began as a local trade grew into a network spanning ten districts, from the Ludhiana belt out to Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Batala and Pathankot.
Today Dinesh Kumar Aggarwal is Managing Director, with Akhilesh Aggarwal as Director — the third generation now running the beat.
How we work
We operate as an extension of the brands we represent: owned warehousing, a fleet of vehicles of every size, fixed beat plans, and transparent secondary sales reporting back to each principal.
The operation runs across two addresses — the head office at Main Bazar, Kesar Ganj, where brands and partners are met, and the godown on Pakhowal Road, where stock, loading and dispatch happen. What gets promised at the office gets delivered from the godown.
